I’m Dr Ru — a certified hypnotherapist, mind-body and resilience practitioner, and a medical doctor. I understand the deep pressure that high-performing women carry every day — and the emotional cost that often comes with it. I now specialise in helping women who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck — whether due to relentless stress, low confidence, disrupted sleep, emotional eating cycles, chronic emotional pain, or anxiety. With over 15 years of clinical experience, I take an integrative, evidence-informed approach that blends subconscious work, nervous system support, and coaching-based tools. I offer tailored online 1:1 support to help you shift what’s holding you back and reconnect with a more empowered, grounded version of yourself — so you can thrive both personally and professionally

  • 2. Will I be in control?
    Yes - you will remain fully in control without. It is a collaborative process, so hypnotherapy is not something that is done to a person. It is also not about you being made to do something. You'll be able to speak if necessary and can stop at anytime. The majority of people find it a deeply relaxing and empowering experience.
  • 1. What is hypnotherapy?
    Hypnotherapy is a safe and gentle process that guides you into a relaxed, focused state—similar to daydreaming or deep concentration. In this state, your mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and change. It works with the subconscious part of your mind to help shift unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, behaviours, and habits, making it easier to break old patterns and create new, healthier ones.
  • 4.How many sessions will I need?
    The number of sessions needed will vary from person to person. Some clients will notice a meaningful shift in just 1-3 sessions, while others will benefit from ongoing support over a longer period. During your consultation we can discuss your goals and decide what is right for you.
  • 3. How is your approach different from traditional hypnotherapy or coaching?
    While I'm a certified hypnotherapist, my approach blends much more than that. I combine hypnotherapy with mind-body techniques, nervous system regulation tools, and coaching-based strategies to offer deep, integrated support. This means you're not just working with thoughts or behaviour — you're working with your whole system: subconscious, body, and emotional patterns.
